Vision Statement

We desire to see children developing a passion to know, love and follow Christ by discovering Him and his intimate love for them through worship, teaching and play. We will equip parents and resource volunteers to be able to confidently teach and nurture children in the Christian faith at home and in the Children’s ministries at Christ Church.

For Elementary Children

Gospel conversations, warm community, laughter and true discipleship is happening every Sunday in “Kids’ Quest!” Our elementary children are led by dedicated volunteers in The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum every Sunday morning at 9am. We have been meeting on zoom during the pandemic, but will resume in-person Kids’ Quest beginning on Sunday, June 6th. Families who wish to participate MUST register their children for summer Kids’ Quest using this form by June 1st.

For Nursery Children

Our children who are 5 and younger have a special weekday morning time just for them! Led by Mrs. Meredith Davis, “Tuesdays @ Ten Story Time” has been a big hit since Fall 2020! Meredith, a published author and children’s book lover extraordinaire, leads the children through several stories based on a prayer theme. Contact Terrice for the zoom link.

Children’s Ministry Volunteers

Our children’s ministry volunteers are enthusiastically devoted to investing in your children with love, grace, and the truth of God’s word in creative ways.

If you’re interested in learning more about volunteering please register HERE to attend our Kids’ Quest Volunteer Training & Lunch on Sunday, May 30 from 12:45pm – 2:15pm.

All volunteers who serve online or in person are screened through a three-step process that includes a background check, acceptance of our C4SO Diocesan Child Protection Policy Manual and a 90 minute online Ministry Safe training. Please contact Terrice to learn more about serving on this wonderful team!
