What to expect
Our vibrant worship service is guided by historical, biblically-based liturgy. First, during the Ministry of the Word, we hear readings from the Bible and a sermon. Then, during the Ministry of the Table, we receive Communion - bread and wine blessed in prayer - as our weekly celebration of Jesus' death and resurrection. If you desire to learn more about the our Sunday morning practices visit here to watch a Sunday service and Liturgy Tour.
We enjoy many different kinds and styles of music in our worship. Some pieces we sing were written in the last few months and others are classic hymns sung for centuries throughout the Church.

INFANT - PRE-K
We offer staffed childcare for infant through pre-k children. When you arrive just follow the signs to Nursery Check-in!
Elementary-aged kids will begin service by sitting with you. Just before the sermon begins they’ll be invited to follow the cross out of the sanctuary and head to Kids Quest. It is at Kids Quest they’ll receive age-appropriate teaching and care by a team of Christ Church staff and volunteers. Afterwhich, they’ll be led back into service in time to participate in Communion alongside you.
The best way to get connected to the Christ Church community is by joining one of our small groups. In a small group you’ll find a safe and welcoming place to get to know other parishioners and grow in your relationship with Jesus. There are a variety of different groups scattered all throughout Austin, we’re sure there’s a perfect fit for you! Visit our Small Groups page for more information on getting plugged in!
