The children of Christ Church embrace and live out Christ Church’s core values in their worship, community, and learning.
We end each Kids Quest with a time of musical worship. We sing songs chosen specifically to capture children’s attention and hearts in worship. We augment the Gospel Project curriculum with seasonal teaching based on the liturgical calendar and spend the entire month of August focused on worship.
During Kids Quest, we meet as a large group then break out into younger and older small groups, allowing the children to form meaningful peer relationships. The teachers and curriculum facilitate and demonstrate how to become a community in real relationship with each other.
Each week, the Christ Connection in the Gospel Project teaches that the gospel changes lives. Games and crafts connect and relate back to the Bible story to emphasize this. We welcome prayer requests from the children and pray expectantly for one another.
We encourage our children to be a light in their schools and communities. We also continue to support our sponsor child, Nataly, at Potter’s House in Guatemala. June is focused on mission to give children a broader sense of where God is working locally and globally.
To make fully devoted followers of Christ. Our children share in the core values that guide Christ Church as a whole:
Our Nursery welcomes children ages six months – 5 years. We provide a peaceful environment where they can know God’s love from the earliest age. Our trained, experienced caregivers desire to bless the children and families of Christ Church.
Kids Quest is offered to children from kindergarten through 4th grade. Each week, the program begins with large group teacher. The children then break out into small groups where there is an opportunity to discuss and engage with the lessons in a setting which fosters connection. We close with worship.
The Gospel Project is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Over the course of three years, participants will journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling them to join the mission of God.
Our 5th and 6th graders will be following a specially-designed curriculum that serves to bridge our children from the Children’s Ministry into our Youth Group.
The Faith Explorers programs focuses on the various aspects of Anglican worship, including Communion. They also take an in-depth and biblical journey through the Lord’s Prayer, Nicene Creed, and the gifts of the Spirit.
