Join us on October 25 at 1pm for our most recent Lunch & Learn – Welcoming the Stranger: A Biblical and Practical Guide to Understanding Immigration, led by Matthew Blanton, PhD candidate and fellow parishioner.
Migration is one of the defining social issues of our day. More people have been forcibly displaced than at any point since the end of the Second World War. Intensifying enforcement operations and sharp political divisions have made immigration one of the most contested issues in American life. Here in Austin, where nearly one in five residents is foreign-born, many of our neighbors are navigating daily life under growing uncertainty and fear.
Grounded in biblical teaching and informed by migration history and research, this lunch and learn aims to offer a fuller, more faithful understanding of one of the most urgent issues of our time.
Please bring your own lunch for this time of rich learning. No registration required.
