The Anglican Way

Dear Christ Church,

If you are like most people who come to Christ Church, you came without an Anglican background. We are very excited to offer The Anglican Way class this spring! Come join us simply to learn more about Anglican worship, history, and practices, or to get ready for confirmation (The Anglican Way class is a required preparatory step for confirmation).

Led by Fr. Cliff, this is an opportunity to learn more about who we are, why we do what we do on Sundays, how we are formed in faith within the Anglican tradition, and you’ll have the opportunity to bring your questions to clergy.

The class will be held Saturday, March 4th, 9am – 12am. You can register here(childcare provided!). If you are planning to attend please also obtain a copy of The Anglican Way by Thomas McKenzie to read prior to the class (you still have one month to read the book!) We also suggest grabbing a copy of The Book of Common Prayer and familiarizing yourself with it prior to class.

As we look toward warmer days ahead and emerge from our own hunkering down during this week’s ice storm it takes only a glance around for us to find ourselves heavy hearted by the loss of trees to the ice. We are prayerfully thinking of you, Church.

Peace,

Christ Church Staff
