The good news of the gospel is that Jesus calls us friends. Friendship with each other, as followers of Jesus, is an art that we can learn. We were created for connection, intimacy and delight in each other. Not only is friendship an essential ingredient of life, an end in itself, it also seasons life much like salt seasons all it touches.
Please join us October 27–29 at Christ Church for our Fall Parish Retreat as we consider how friendship refines us, bringing us closer to God’s own likeness. We will be joined by The Rev. Dr. Erin Moniz who will take us on a deep dive into the art of friendship; how it is driven by intimacy and enriches our lives and how our differences create a beautiful mosaic that, when joined together in friendship, is a powerful reflection of God’s image.
This years retreat will be in-town at Christ Church, allowing participants to sleep at home, but registration is required for all participants and childcare is limited. Click here to register now!

Friday, October 27
Evening | 6pm-9pm: Backyard party with catered dinner by Rudy’s BBQ and live music by The Hillsiders. (Childcare available for children up to age 5. Spots are limited, and registration is required.)
Saturday, October 28
Morning | 8:30am – 12pm: Breakfast tacos in the courtyard, Teaching Sessions, and Noonday Prayer. (Childcare available for children up to age 5 & Children’s Program for K-5th grade. Spots are limited, and registration is required).
Lunch | 12:30pm – 1:30pm: on your own or with Christ Church Parishioners. Please refer to this list (coming soon!) for area restaurants and indicate where you are going to lunch to coordinate with others. (No childcare available during this time)
Afternoon | 1:30pm – 4pm: Optional Activities – more info to come (No childcare available during this time)
Afternoon | 4pm – 6pm: Teaching/Interactive Sessions. (Childcare available for up to age 5, and Children’s Program for k-5th grade. Spots are limited, and registration is required).
Evening | 6pm – 9pm: Dinner catered by Fresa’s, a 3v3 Basketball Tournament for all skill levels (sign up here), and other family friendly activities. (No childcare available during this time)
Sunday, October 29
Normal Sunday services, 9am & 11am.
Cost & Registration:
The cost of the fall retreat is $45 per person | $150 maximum/family
*Don’t let finances to be a barrier to attendance. If you are in need of financial assistance to cover partial retreat cost please fill out the scholarship application and await a response prior to registering.*
