Dear Christ Church,
The turn of the weather and the crisp air rushing in is fitting as we transition from one season to another, turning the page of our calendar over from Advent to Christmastide. Sometimes cold weather can feel cleansing and in that way it feels appropriate as we move to a season of brightness, joy, and fresh relief.
As we look forward to Christmas and beyond, we want to remind you of our schedule over the next ten days. Please take a moment to review the changes; we don’t want you to arrive to an empty church!
Christmas Eve
Join us at one of our three Christmas Eve services at 5pm, 7pm, and 9pm. We are excited to watch the children’s choir during the 5pm service. Childcare for infants through three years old is available during the 5pm and 7pm services. Our 9pm service will have a more austere, midnight mass feel. We would love to see you at any of these! If you are unable to attend in person you can tune into our Christmas Eve livestream at 7:00pm.
The courtyard will be open for seating with space heaters. We do recommend bringing blankets for additional warmth as the forecast for the night is a chilly one!
Christmas Day
There will be no church on Sunday, Christmas Day. That’s right, stay home and cozy in your pjs! Wherever you find yourself this Christmas morning we hope it is peaceful and warm.
Lessons and Carols
We will be having only one service, Lessons and Carols, at 10am on January 1st – New Year’s Day. There will be no nursery or Kids’ Quest, as the whole family is invited to participate! We would love to see you there!
Christ Church Offices Closed
Please note that our offices will be closed December 26 – January 2. We will re-open on Tuesday, January 3.
From all of us at Christ Church, Merry Christmas! We look forward to celebrating our Emmanuel with you.
With peace,
Christ Church Staff
