We highly value being formed as followers of Christ. Below are resources to help deepen our walk with God in daily or family devotions.

For Christians, baptism is the sign of belonging to Jesus and to His church. Baptism is a rich symbol that signals a Christian’s status as one washed from sin, as one “dead to sin” and raised to new life in Jesus, and as a member of His covenant community.

At Christ Church, we hold baptism services several times a year. There is a preparation process involved with both infant baptism and baptism following a confession of belief. If you or your children are interested in being baptized, or if you would like to have your infant be baptized, please contact our office for more information.

Confirmation provides an opportunity for Christians to reaffirm and renew their baptism vows, and is an opportunity to publicly affirm our place as disciples of Jesus and members of His church.

Christ Church usually holds a confirmation service once a year under the leadership of our Bishop, Todd Hunter. Confirmation normally requires participation in one of our Anglicanism courses or in a Youth Confirmation Prep course, offered periodically.

If you have questions regarding confirmation, please email info@christchurchofaustin.org.
