Assistant to the Rector
Meghan has been a member of Christ Church since 2009 where she’s had the honor of living life in the authentic community of our parish, serving on the Mission Team and Vestry. She became part of the staff team as Assistant to the Rector in the summer of 2015. Meghan graduated from Wheaton College in 2001 with a BA in Christian Education and Ministry with an emphasis on intercultural studies. The Lord captivated her heart as a child and grew in her a love for Himself and a desire to make Him known among the nations. In 2001 she moved to Austin, a city she is proud to have established roots and call home. Meghan and her husband, Matt, were married in December 2002 and have two children, Brennan and Kensington, whom she part-time homeschools. She loves snuggling with and reading to her children; cooking, when it doesn’t feel like a chore; hiking, particularly in the mountains of Colorado; and family conversations and laughter around the dinner table. One happy place of hers is being curled up with a good book, a cup of tea, and her dog and husband by her side after the children are in bed.
