Dear Christ Church,
A quick note about our Eastertide Backyard Party if you missed the email this morning: the party is rescheduled to Sunday, May 2 at 5pm due to the weather forecast. I hope you can join us then!
In other news, please join me in welcoming Kristie Hartwell and Danielle Pruitt to our staff!
You might have met Kristie, who has been with us for several weeks, but if her name sounds familiar that might also be because she and her family attended Christ Church many years ago. After a recent move to California, she and her husband Andrew are back in Central Texas. Kristie brings a background as an Executive Assistant, Church Administrator, and Communications Coordinator, working in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. She loves the bride of Christ in general and Anglicanism in particular, and has great affection for our Christ Church family and story. Her role is Assistant to the Rector, where she will provide administrative to me, support the work flow from my office, and assist with wider church and staff administrative needs as part of our team. Any communications that you might have once directed to Tori Yee you may now direct to firstname.lastname@example.org as she takes the baton. I know you will enjoy getting to know her in the months to come.
Beginning next week Danielle Pruitt will also be joining the Christ Church staff as the Office Administrator. She, along with her husband Beau, recently relocated to Austin from Chicago and jumped right into the Christ Church community. Danielle has a diverse work background weaving ministry and administrative experience together, from managing a coffee shop to an internship at Evanston Bible Fellowship in Chicago before she and Beau made their way into Anglicanism. In 2020 she completed her Masters in Theological Studies at Trinity International University. Danielle is excited to join the team and serve Christ Church in this role, and can be reached at email@example.com.
Let’s welcome Kristie and Danielle with Christ Church hospitality, and perhaps a note of greeting. Welcome to the team, Kristie and Danielle!
