Staff Update: Director of Children’s Ministry

Rev. Cliff WarnerCliffNotes, Frontpage News

Dear Christ Church,

What a great staff team we have!  I often marvel at the goodness of God in His assembly of godly and servant-hearted leaders on our staff who love God, His people, and each other so well.  We enjoy collaborating and working together, and there are a lot of laughs along the way.

Please join me, with Christ Church hospitality, in welcoming the newest member of our team:  Terrice Tinsley!  She is stepping into the role of Director of Children’s Ministry, her first day being July 15th.  She was raised in Austin, and after living in various cities across the States, she has been back in Austin for ten years now.  Her husband, Rick, serves as a hospice chaplain, and they have two grown children, Grace (20), who is a junior at Wheaton College, and Lauren (18), who will soon be a freshman at the University of North Texas.

Terrice has organized the children’s ministry of a downtown Austin church plant and enjoyed serving in the national offices of Bridges International (Cru) here in Austin.  She loves witnessing children discover God’s world, his Word, and his great love for them.  Welcome to our community and team, Terrice!

Speaking of our staff, we have an overnight working retreat in the next week.  We welcome your prayers for our time together as we set our sights on the new season the Lord has in store for us in our new downtown Eastside neighborhood!  We seek to be faithful stewards, servants, and leaders of all that God has entrusted to Christ Church.

P.S. If you’re new to Christ Church, I’d love to personally hear more of your story over dinner at our Newcomers’ Dinner on Saturday, July 14th.  I hope to see you there!
