Saturday was a quieter day for Christine — fewer therapy sessions and longer stretches (as much as hospital rhythms allow) of silence and prayer. She is looking forward to the privilege of telling her own mother “Happy Mother’s Day!” – celebrating the special and the ordinary.
- that things needing medical care would be revealed sooner rather than later. Currently she is anticipating an appointment with the Neuro-Opthamologist on Monday, and an angiogram to monitor the carotid arteries at some point this week.
- creative responses to pain in the jaw and mouth. The Speech therapists are hesitant to do usual exercises due to the sensitivity.
