Christine slept well last night (answered prayer!), and was able to shuffle around the corridor of ICU/TCU with the assistance of a physical therapist and a walker, so this is great progress. The feeding tube is out and they’re seeing if a liquid diet can give her the nourishment her body needs. Her voice is coming back a little bit, but is still a whisper. Her vision is slowing getting better, but as expected, she will be seeing double for a while longer. The damaged carotid arteries need further assessment, but they are wating for her body to recover a bit more before doing an invasive procedure while monitoring her blood for clotting. We rejoice at this continued progress.
- For Christine’s vision to be restored
- For the assessment and healing of her carotid arteries
- For continued sleep, healing and recovery
