Dear Christ Church,
The preeminent call of the church is to be a worshipping community. Every other purpose of the church is subordinate to this purpose, that God be honored as we declare His supreme worth. It’s the end purpose of building community, of work and vocation, of mission and outreach, and even our leisure and play.
Each Sunday we gather as God’s people in order to join in corporate, or communal, worship. As Anglicans we engage all the senses, combining movement, speech, song and symbol to point to Jesus.
Join us this Sunday for an Instructed Eucharist! I will teach our way through every aspect the service. Have you ever wondered why we do some of the things we do as Anglicans? This Sunday will answer many of those questions and prepare you to enter more fully the great drama of redemption and the depth of weekly worship.
