Next week Anglicans from all over North America, and some guests from around the world, will gather for an Assembly to review what the Lord has done in our movement, on the one hand, and set the tone and direction for where we are going, on the other. I am very encouraged by the convergence of many streams of Anglicanism, many wise leaders and a growing passion for a united, biblical and missionary Anglicanism in our continent.
One of the speakers at the Assembly will be Bishop Todd Hunter, author of Christianity Beyond Belief, Giving Church Another Chance, The Accidental Anglican, and Our Favorite Sins. Check out this interview with him about church planting.
To get a bird’s eye view, and to grow in our understanding of this missional community we call home, the Anglican Church of North America, I heartily commend to you every page of The Apostle. This edition of our denomination periodical is chock-full of goodness. Learn about the “three streams” of Anglican history, our contemporary global mission efforts, church-planting vision, personal testimonies and the changing face of Anglicanism.
Recently Peter Coelho posted here about his upcoming ordination as a Deacon. After attending the ACNA Assembly in North Carolina, Peter will be ordained by Archbishop Rwaje of Rwanda. Please join me in celebration and prayer for the vocational call to ministry in Peter’s life, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit!
