Pentecostal Picnic

Rev. Cliff WarnerCliffNotes

We like to party. Many of our highlight moments from the history of our church are the times we’ve gathered to laugh, play, feast and build friendships. This is part of the biblical call to community, to share life together, to “practice resurrection” and delight in God’s creation.

This Monday we have another party, our Parish Picnic, 10am at Pease Park (see details below). You won’t want to miss it.

This Sunday is the Feast of Pentecost, the day of the church year in which we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the birth of the early church, and welcome the Spirit to once again fill, refresh and empower us for the call of God’s kingdom. Come Holy Spirit!

Parish Picnic + The Feast of Pentecost = Pentecostal Picnic

Bring a side dish to the picnic, bring games and recreational equipment and, especially, bring a friend.
