Moving to a New Location in 2010

Rev. Cliff WarnerCliffNotes

What a fantastic day of worship last Sunday, not to mention great chili, Irish music and dancing. Way to go Jay Myers, chili champion from among 30 entries! In case you missed it, I was thrilled to announce Sunday that our property team has found a new location for worship, the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs, just a few blocks from our current location. The TFWC is large enough for us to return to one service at 10:30am, with room to grow. Thank you for praying. The facility is currently occupied by another church that plans to move out in January, which would allow us to relocate within the first couple of months of the New Year. We will keep you posted with relevant logistics, but for now we wanted to share the good news. The fact that this building opened up for us is a tremendous answer to your prayers.

Many thanks to Kieve Garner and her team for coordinating the Chili Cook-off and Ceili, as well as to Mike Murphy and his team, who searched far and wide for the best possible location to both accommodate our needs and facilitate our growth and mission.

Thinking about end-of-year giving? I want to invite you to make an additional gift to the Lord and His mission through Christ Church this Advent, in gratitude for the tremendous ways He has blessed us in 2009, and in eager anticipation of the ways He will display his glory and grace to us and through us in 2010.

Peace on earth,
